Ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters,
We invite all families to save the environment,
As it is our treasure from ancient times.

Land, water, forest
Fish and animals
Do not only use but also save it
All of these are treasures

For those of you with fisheries
Don’t use poison and electric currents
To bite into the river
It is forbidden

If you use poison and electricity
To destroy the fish
The police could come to arrest you and
Take you to jail
Causing misery to your family

For those of you who are cultivating the land
Remember not to cut the trees of our forest
Be careful. Do not slash and burn.
This could create forest fires.

If the fire spreads and the forest burns,
It will make a dangerous smoke and haze
which is bad for our health.

We hope that in protecting environment as our heritage, preserving it for future generations
Brothers and sisters
We must live in harmony
Hand in hand
To protect the environment

So now, I will finish my “Karungut” song
And I will stop the voice of my flute
